Begin your journey on the Deccan Odyssey at Chhattrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai in the evening. Have lavish dinner and sleep on the luxury train overnight.
Day 02: Thursday - Jaigadh - Ganapatipule - Ratangiri
Reach Bhoke in Maharashtra. Ride on an air-conditioned bus to the jetty for a boat cruise to the Jaigadh Fort. Leave for Ganapatiphule by road. Have fun on the beach and lunch at a beach resort. Ride a bus to Ratnagiri town. See the Ratnadurg Fort, Lokmanya Tilak Smarak and shop at Ratnagiri Bazar. Leave for Ratnigiri Station to board the Deccan Odyssey. Have dinner and stay on the luxury train overnight.
Day 03: Friday - Sindhudurg - Tarkarli - Sawantwadi
Reach Sindhudurg Nagari Railway Station in the morning. Ride in an air-conditioned bus to Malvan Jetty and tour the Sindhudurg Sea Fort. Leave for Tarkali Beach Resort, where you can have fun on the beach and lunch at a beach resort. Late go on a boat cruise from Tarkali creek to Kalse Jetty. Leave for Sawantwadi and enjoy shopping at the crafts village - 'Shilpagrama'. Leave for Sawantwadi Railway Station and return to the Deccan Odyssey. Have dinner and stay on the luxury train overnight.
Day 04: Saturday - Goa
Reach Karmali railway station in Goa. Travel by bus to Old Goa and see the churches of Goa such as the Basilica of Born Jesus and Church of St. Francis of Assisi. Leave for Panjim, the capital of Goa and see the city and market. Have lunch at the Fort Aguada Beach Resort. Leave for Dona Paula Beach. The leave for Madgaon Railway Station and return to the Deccan Odyssey. Have dinner and stay on the luxury train overnight.
Day 05: Sunday - Pune
Reach Pune, in Maharashtra. Ride a bus to the old central market, Mahatma Phule Mandai, and see the Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, the Osho International Commune, and Sir David Sasoon Synagogue built in 1867. Have lunch at the Le Meridien Hotel. Then visit the Tribal Museum, Aga Khan Palace and see the Sound and Light Show at Shaniwarwada. Leave for Pune railway station and return to the Deccan Odyssey. Have dinner and stay on the luxury train overnight.
Day 06: Monday - Aurangabad 
Reach Aurangabad. Proceed to the Daulatabad Fort and visit the Ellora Caves, famous for their rock cut temples. Have lunch and see the cultural programme at the Taj Hotel. After lunch leave for the Shivaji museum, Bibi ka Maqbara and Aurangabad Caves. In the market you can shop for local crafts such as Paithani sarees, Bidriwork and Himroo work. Leave for the railway station to return to the Deccan Odyssey. Have dinner and stay on the luxury train overnight.
Day 07: Tuesday - Ajanta & Nashik
Reach Jalgaon Railway Station. Proceed by bus to Fardapur Resort. Have breakfast and leave for the Ajanta Caves. The cave temples of Ajanta are famous for their carvings and frescoes. Proceed by bus to Bhusalwal Railway Station, come aboard the Deccan Odyssey and leave for Nashik. Have lunch on board the train. Reach Nashik. Visit the Panchawati Ghat and the Sula Winery. Have dinner at the winery. Come back to Nashik railway station and board the Deccan Odyssey. Stay overnight on the train.
Day 08: Wednesday - Mumbai
Rise and have breakfast as the Deccan Odyssey pulls into Mumbai. Leave the train at Mumbai with indelible memories of your Deccan Odyssey.
