Day 01: Arrive Delhi
After arrival at International Airport in Delhi, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will greet and assist to transfer you to pre booked hotel. Freshen up and relax at the hotel Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02: New & Old Delhi
After hearty breakfast, enjoy a full day city tour of old & modern capital of India. Visit Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, the construction was started in 1844 and was not completed until 1658; Red Fort, which was also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648; Chandni Chowk and Rajghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi. Witness the India Gate, the Presidents House & the Parliament. Visit Humayun's Tomb : built in mid 16th century this is an early example of Mughal architecture; Qutab Minar. The tour ends with a visit to Laxmi Narayan Temple (Birla Mandir). Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03: New Delhi - Mandawa ( 275 Km, 06 hours )
Have a hearty morning breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Mandawa through the villages of Rajasthan. Upon arrival in Mandawa, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will assist you to transfer you to the Hotel Castle Mandawa. In the afternoon, visit the 150 to 200 year old painted havelies (big houses) by the natural colors in the streets of the village. You can also watch the daily village life while watching the havelies. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Hotel.
Day 04: Mandawa – Bikaner ( 190 Km, 04 hours )
Have a hearty morning breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Bikaner. Bikaner was founded by Rao Bika Ji in 1488 A.D. Upon arrival in Bikaner, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will assist you to transfer you to the Hotel. In the afternoon, visit Junagarh Fort founded in year 1593 by Raja Rai Singh who was general in the army of mighty Mughal emperor Akbar and rest of the Fort was improved by the successors. Afterwards visit Asia’s largest Camel Breeding Research Farm and local busy markets. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05: Bikaner – Deshnok - Khimsar ( 145 Km, 03 hours )
Have a hearty breakfast at the Hotel and then drive to Khimsar via 600 year old Desnok Rat temple. Upon arrival, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will greet and assist you to transfer you to the Hotel. Khimsar was founded by 24th Jain Profit Mahavira 500 years B.C. Arrive 15th century Hotel Royal Castle Khimsar Fort, afternoon Jeep safari will be organized to visit local villages, wild life & sensational sun set on sand dunes. Day 06: Khimsar – Oscian - Jaisalmer ( 330 Km, 06 hours )
Have a hearty breakfast at the Hotel and then drive to Jaisalmer. Upon arrival, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will greet and assist you to transfer you to the Hotel En route visit at 7th century Mahavira Jain Temple and 2000 years old Jija Mata Temple at Oscian village. Jaisalmer was founded by Rawal Jaisal in 1156 A.D. after shifting his capital from Ladurva. Jaisalmer was the main caravan route from Far East to the Middle East.
Day 07:
Jaisalmer
After hearty breakfast in the morning, enjoy sightseeing of Fort (80 meters above plains) & Jain Temples within the Fort built in 12th to 15th century which are very worth watching. The specialty of the Fort is that still approximately 5000 people are living inside. Visit Fort Palace & atop from Palace you can have the golden view of whole Jaisalmer city as while city is built in yellow sand stones, when sun rays fall on the city, it really looks golden city of India. Afterwards visit Patwon Ki Haveli and Nath Ji Mal Ki Haveli. In the afternoon drive to Sam Sand dunes to watch sensational Sun Set by camel ride. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 08: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur ( 285 Km, 05 hours )
Have a hearty breakfast at the Hotel and then drive to Jodhpur. Upon arrival, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will greet and assist you to transfer you to the Hotel Umaid Bhawan Palace. Jodhpur was founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 AD after shifting his capital from Mandore to Jodhpur by the advise of a holy man. In the afternoon visit Mehrangarh Fort 125 meters above plains, Jaswant thada and Sardar market clock tower. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 09: Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Udaipur ( 285 Km, 08 hours )
Have a hearty breakfast at the Hotel and then drive to Udaipur (Romantic City), visiting en route Rankapur Jain Temples. Upon arrival in Udaipur, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will greet and assist you to transfer you to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 10: Udaipur
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, visit City Palace, Jagdish temple built in 1651 AD, Fatehsagar Lake, and Sahalion Ki Bari. In the afternoon, enjoy boat ride in Lake Pichola to visit Jagmandir Island. Late afternoon, enjoy exciting cultural folk dances of Rajasthan at Meera Kala Mandir. Return to Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11: Udaipur – Roopangarh ( 265 Km, 05 hours )
In the morning, leave for Roopangarh, founded by 5th ruler of Kishangarh Maharaja Roop Singh in 16th century. Upon arrival, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will assist you to transfer you to the Hotel Fort Roopangarh. In the afternoon, visit exciting colorful local villages of Roopangarh. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 12: Roopangarh – Jaipur ( 125 Km, 02.1/2 hours )
After hearty breakfast, drive to Jaipur (popularly called Pink City). Upon arrival in Jaipur, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Jaipur: - Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Swai Jai Singh in 1727 AD after shifting his capital from Amer valley to the newly formed city in the plains after consulting so many maps of the world and finally organized own religious map Shilpa Shastra with the help of a young Bengali architect Vidyadhar Batacharya. Maharaja Swai Jai Singh was a builder, astronomer, astrologer, soldier, philosopher and now Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan & world famous as the Pink City.
Day 13: Jaipur
After hearty breakfast, enjoy full day sightseeing of Jaipur visiting Hawa Mahal (palace of winds) where from royal ladies were watching daily processions and life. Afterwards visit Amer Fort by elephant ride, which gives you the experience and impression of how Maharajas & royal family members were using the services of elephants. After lunch visit City Palace Museum, Astrological Observatory and local busy markets. Afterwards check in at Hotel Rambagh Palace for overnight stay. Dinner will be at the hotel.
Day 14: Jaipur – FatehpurSikri – Agra ( 235 Km, 06 hours )
Have a hearty breakfast at the Hotel and then drive to the Taj city - Agra visiting en route one of the most important place of Mughal era Fatepur Sikri founded by Akbar in 1569 AD as a ceremonial capital. But unfortunately this magnificent city was abandoned due to scarcity of drinking water and Akbar went back to Agra. Continue your drive to Agra. Upon arrival in Agra, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will greet and assist you to transfer you to the Hotel Clarks Shiraz. After change and wash visit one of the wonders of the world, Taj Mahal (monument of love), founded by 5th great Mughal Emperor Shahi Jahan in the memory of his beloved queen Anjuman Bano Begum (with love emperor called her Mumtaz). After her death in 1627 AD, in her memory emperor started to built Taj Mahal (Taj means crown & Mahal means Palace, so it is Crown Palace) from 1631 to 1653 AD with twenty two thousand labors working since sun rise to sun set in twenty two years. The marble was transported from Makrana in Rajasthan by the help of animals. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 15: Agra – Delhi ( 200 Km, 04 hours )
After breakfast check out from the Hotel and visit Agra Red Fort which was built by three emperors Akbar & Jahangir built in red sand stones and Shahi Jahan in pure white marble. While driving to Delhi visit crematory of Akbar at Sikandra which he had started building himself and after his death, it was finished by his son Jahangir. Continue your drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will assist you to transfer to the hotel. Explore few hours in the busy markets.
