The Valley of Shepherds : Pahalgam (2,130 m) was once a humble shepherd's village with breathtaking views. Now it is Kashmir's premier resort, cool even during the height of summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 250C. Around Pahalgam are many places of interest, and because the resort is set between fairly steep hills, it is worth hiring a pony rather than walking. Pony fares are posted at prominent locations. The most beautiful of these is the huge, undulating meadow of Baisaran, surrounded by thickly wooded forests of pine. Hajan, on the way to Chandanwari, is an idyllic spot for a picnic. Day 01: Arrival Srinagar

Have a hearty breakfast and then proceed for half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Adobe of love). Return to houseboat for hot lunch. In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. Also get a view of some very interesting places around the Lake. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Houseboat.

Day 03: Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar (112Kms.)
Have a hearty breakfast in the morning and then proceed for full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. In the evening return to Houseboat. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Houseboat.

Day 04: Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar (196Kms.)
After hearty breakfast in houseboat, enjoy, full day excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way, stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return to Houseboat. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Houseboat.

Day 05: Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar (186Kms.)
After hearty breakfast, enjoy full day excursion to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag sulpher spring. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. In the evening return to Houseboat. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Houseboat.

Day 06: Srinagar
In the morning visit to the Shankaracharya temple (Shiva temple) which commands one of the magnificient view of the Srinagar City and the lakes. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Houseboat.

Day 07: Srinagar - Departure
Have a hearty breakfast and spend morning at leisure. In the afternoon, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will assist you to transfer you to the airport in the time to catch flight for your home destination.
